Platform Comparison

DriveSchoolPro vs EasyWeek

A plain comparison for UK instructors weighing up EasyWeek, a booking tool used by many kinds of business, against software built for driving instruction.

This page is for an instructor looking at EasyWeek because it's cheap or free and does online booking well. That's a fair reason to look. Here's what's different.

DriveSchoolPro

Free until 31 March 2027 while in early access, with no subscription fee and no card needed to start. Card payments taken through DriveSchoolPro carry a 3% platform fee plus Stripe's own processing fee.

"Not listed" means we could not find the feature on EasyWeek's public website on 16 October 2026. It may exist. We use "Not listed" rather than "No" so we never say a competitor lacks something we haven't seen them say. If anything here is out of date, email info@driveschoolpro.com and we'll correct it.

Where DriveSchoolPro differs

These are the differences that exist today, from the table above.

  • Built for the DVSA test
DriveSchoolPro tracks the official 27 skills across 8 categories, lesson by lesson, and pupils see their own progress in their app.
  • Lesson prep written for you
Before each lesson, DriveSchoolPro writes a short briefing from your last notes and the pupil's skill ratings, using Claude.
  • The car is part of the booking
Bookings are checked against the pupil, the instructor and the vehicle together, and MOT, tax and insurance dates are tracked with alerts.
  • A free plan with every feature
From 1 April 2027 DriveSchoolPro's permanent Free plan includes every feature for 1 instructor and up to 60 lessons a month. Solo is £22 a month and School £22 plus £10 per extra instructor, with no VAT charged.

What DriveSchoolPro doesn't do

EasyWeek sends reminders by SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram and push as well as email, where DriveSchoolPro sends email only for now (WhatsApp is coming soon). EasyWeek also has a website builder, gift cards and point-of-sale, which we don't. If those matter more than DVSA tracking, EasyWeek is a fair choice.
