What's New

Recent updates to the DriveSchoolPro platform.

DriveSchoolPro is actively developed and updated. Here's what we've shipped recently.

  1. August 2026 Mobile

Offline access and the installable app

Install DriveSchoolPro on your phone and it keeps working with no signal. Your diary, pupil records and lesson notes stay available in the car, and anything you change syncs when you are back online.

  2. July 2026 Pricing

    Free until 31 March 2027

DriveSchoolPro is free for every school during early access — no card required, no setup fees, and we take no commission on the payments you collect. Pricing will be announced well before 1 April 2027.

  3. June 2026 Dashboard

    Your day on one screen

A daily agenda that opens on today: every lesson in order, who is next, where you are picking them up, and what they owe.

  4. May 2026 Payments

    Money in one place

Invoices, payments, package balances and outstanding requests in a single view, so you can see who has paid without leaving the page.

  5. April 2026 Portal

    Student booking portal redesign

Students can now book and reschedule lessons directly from a redesigned dashboard — with a weekly calendar view and live instructor availability. The updated portal works smoothly on mobile without any app download.

  6. March 2026 Payments

    Stripe Connect payment processing

Instructors can now accept card payments from students through Stripe Connect. Set up takes a few minutes from Settings — funds land directly in your bank account with no DriveSchoolPro middleman.

  7. March 2026 Calendar

    Calendar export for lessons

Add any lesson to Google Calendar, Apple Calendar or Outlook straight from its confirmation — a one-way export, so your DriveSchoolPro diary stays the source of truth.

  8. March 2026 Booking

    Three-way conflict detection

The booking system now checks for scheduling conflicts across instructor, vehicle, and student simultaneously before confirming a lesson. When a conflict is found, it automatically suggests the next available slot.

  9. February 2026 DVSA

DVSA Ready to Pass framework integration

DriveSchoolPro now tracks student progress across all 27 DVSA driving skills, organised into 8 categories aligned with the official Ready to Pass framework. Instructors log skill levels after each lesson; students can see their progress in the portal.

  10. February 2026 Portal

    Student self-service portal

Students can now log in to view their lesson history, upcoming bookings, and DVSA skill progress — without needing to contact their instructor. The portal uses a separate secure login and requires no app installation.

  11. February 2026 Reminders

    Automated lesson reminders

DriveSchoolPro now sends automated email reminders to students before each lesson. Reminder timing is configurable from Settings — schools typically see a significant drop in no-shows within the first month.

  12. February 2026 Dashboard

    Revenue tracking dashboard

The main dashboard now shows revenue totals, lesson counts, and outstanding balances at a glance — broken down by instructor and date range. Useful for end-of-month reviews without exporting a spreadsheet.

  13. February 2026 Tools

    Cost of learning calculator

A free tool for driving schools to share with prospective students. It calculates the expected total cost of learning to drive based on current lesson prices, average hours to test, and theory test fees — personalised to each school.
