DriveSchoolPro vs Reservio

A plain, feature-by-feature comparison for UK instructors weighing up Reservio's booking system. It covers what's different, and what DriveSchoolPro doesn't do yet.

This page is for an instructor who has found Reservio's free plan and wants to know what a driving-specific tool adds. Reservio is a polished booking system, so this isn't a case against it. It's a list of what's different.

"Not listed" means we could not find the feature on Reservio's public website on 8 October 2026. It may exist. We use "Not listed" rather than "No" so we never say a competitor lacks something we haven't seen them say. If anything here is out of date, email info@driveschoolpro.com and we'll correct it.

Where DriveSchoolPro differs

These are the differences that exist today, from the table above.

  • Built for teaching people to drive
DriveSchoolPro tracks the official DVSA 27 skills across 8 categories, so you and your pupils can see how close they are to test-ready. Reservio tracks bookings and attendance.
  • Clash checks that include the car
Every booking is checked against the pupil, the instructor and the vehicle together, and MOT, tax and insurance dates are tracked with alerts.
  • Lesson prep written for you
Before each lesson, DriveSchoolPro writes a short briefing from your last notes and the pupil's skill ratings, using Claude. We couldn't find an equivalent on Reservio's site.
  • Review requests at the right moment
When a pupil passes, they appear on your Today screen with a Google review request ready to send. It's prompted, not automatic: you decide whether to send it.
  • No booking cap while in early access
DriveSchoolPro has no subscription fee and no booking limit until 31 March 2027, and doesn't ask for a card. From 1 April 2027 there's a permanent Free plan (1 instructor, up to 60 lessons a month), Solo at £22 a month, or School at £22 a month plus £10 per extra instructor, with no VAT charged.

What DriveSchoolPro doesn't do yet

Both have a permanent free plan: from 1 April 2027 DriveSchoolPro's covers 1 instructor and up to 60 lessons a month. Reservio offers SMS reminders as an add-on, where DriveSchoolPro sends email reminders only for now (WhatsApp is coming soon). Reservio also has point-of-sale, vouchers and memberships, which we don't. If any of these decides it for you, that's a fair reason to choose Reservio.
