GoRoadie Pro is listed as an iPhone, iPad and Android app; we couldn't find a web version on its site. DriveSchoolPro works in any web browser as well as on iPhone and Android, so you can plan the week on a laptop and run the day from your phone.

"Not listed" means we could not find the feature on GoRoadie's public website on 16 October 2026. It may exist. We use "Not listed" rather than "No" so we never say a competitor lacks something we haven't seen them say. If anything here is out of date, email info@driveschoolpro.com and we'll correct it.
Where DriveSchoolPro differs
These are the differences that exist today, from the table above.
- The full DVSA frameworkDriveSchoolPro tracks the official 27 skills across 8 categories, lesson by lesson, and pupils see their own progress in their app. GoRoadie Pro lists general progress tracking and reflective logs.
- Lesson prep written for youBefore each lesson, DriveSchoolPro writes a short briefing from your last notes and the pupil's skill ratings, using Claude. We couldn't find an equivalent on GoRoadie's site.
- Phone, tablet and computerDriveSchoolPro runs on iPhone, Android and in any web browser, so the same diary is on your laptop at home and your phone in the car.
- Grows into a schoolAdd instructors to the same account when you take someone on, with role-based access and vehicle tracking. GoRoadie offers schools a separate product.
- A permanent free planDriveSchoolPro is free until 31 March 2027 with no card. From 1 April 2027 there's a permanent Free plan (1 instructor, up to 60 lessons a month), Solo at £22 a month, or School at £22 a month plus £10 per extra instructor, with no VAT charged.
What DriveSchoolPro doesn't do
DriveSchoolPro has no learner marketplace, so it won't bring you new pupils the way GoRoadie can. We don't track expenses or scan receipts, so you'll need accounting software for that side of your tax return. We don't show pupils' theory test progress. Lesson reminders go out by email only for now (WhatsApp is coming soon), where GoRoadie Pro also sends texts. Recording test bookings and results is coming soon. If any of these decides it for you, that's a fair reason to choose GoRoadie Pro.

DriveSchoolPro vs GoRoadie Pro: common questions
DriveSchoolPro tracks all 27 DVSA skills in 8 categories, lesson by lesson, and pupils see their own progress. GoRoadie Pro lists pupil progress tracking and reflective logs, and shows pupils' theory test progress, which DriveSchoolPro doesn't. It doesn't name the DVSA skills.
No. GoRoadie runs a marketplace where learners are matched with instructors, who pay per pupil they accept. DriveSchoolPro has no marketplace. It gives you a booking widget for your own website and a Google review request ready to send when a pupil passes, which helps people find you on Google.
GoRoadie Pro says its expense capture is Making Tax Digital ready. DriveSchoolPro records lesson income, invoices and payments but doesn't track expenses or file anything with HMRC, so you'd pair it with accounting software. Our guide explains who needs MTD from April 2027.
We've tried to make it one. The GoRoadie column only records what GoRoadie's own website and app-store listings say, checked on 16 October 2026. Where we couldn't find a feature we say "Not listed", not "No". We don't quote GoRoadie's prices because they change, so use its own page. If you spot an error, email info@driveschoolpro.com and we'll correct it.
